A Recap of the Third Pitch Night Organized by AvesLair

Aves Lair successfully hosted its third Pitch Night where three emerging tech startups were competing with a 5-minute elevator pitch. Each pitch was graded by the esteemed judges and was given 5-minute feedback and Q&A.

Competition Results:

After careful consideration from the judges, the winner of Aves Lair’s third pitch night is Arrow AI, a browser extension powered by AI that uses content from the business page to help build effective promotions and deliver engaged users. The pitch was presented by Rolan Reichel, Co-founder and CEO of Arrow AI.

In Arrow AI’s pitch, Rolan stated that “Facebook is the most important channel for local businesses to be discovered in their community”, yet these local business pages get low engagement. As an alternative to hiring agencies or freelancers to boost their content, Arrow AI offers an integrated on page and in browser solution that is easy to use with no prior tech knowledge needed. Arrow’s AI technology analyzes the businesses page and boosts their content choosing the targeting based on the type, location, category etc.

According to Rolan, Arrow AI generated over $550k of revenue in the first year of their network business and has 250 users and 10 paid users in only 6 weeks on the Google Chrome Store.

The winning prize for Arrow AI includes: a fast track interview for one of Aves Lair’s esteemed programs, feedback from reputable mentors and VCs within the Aves Lair ecosystem, exposure on Aves Lair social media platforms, as well as a feature on our investor-only newsletter.

Judges Lineup:

Elena Obukhova | CEO & Founder at Flashback & FAS

Elena is a cryptocurrency and NFT expert, author of more than 30 publications, who was also recognized as one of the powerful women in blockchain by several media. Elena built a global consulting company FAS | Fintech Advisory Services, organized one of the most successful online events in the industry Blockconf Digital, and founded the first NFT ticketing platform built on Avalanche, Flashback.one.

Evan Hsu | Investment Associate at Aves Lair

Evan is an investment associate at Aves Lair. Formerly, he was the Program Director at Accathon Capital, where he evaluated and sourced startups. Before that, he was a Private Equity Analyst at Search Fund Accelerator. He graduated with a degree in Finance and Accounting management from Northeastern University. He specializes in due diligence and sourcing and evaluating deals.

Harumi Urata-Thompson | CEO & Founder at HUT Consulting LLC

Harumi is the founder and CEO for HUT Consulting LLC, a firm that specializes in leading and advising organizations on taking innovative paths to achieve strategic, operational, and marketing success in their businesses. She is also the CFO of Emrit and a frequent speaker at emerging technologies events, including blockchain and artificial intelligence. Harumi held multiple senior level positions at Thomson Reuters in healthcare and science and worked at Morgan Stanley and Citigroup in investment banking. In addition, she acts as mentor to a number of people and startups.

Grading Criteria:

The grading criteria consists of the evaluation of performance, value proposition, team, business model, roadmap, technology and traction. The winner is selected with the highest accumulated score given by the judges.
